Save video and audio together as MP4

Choose MP4 when you want to keep the picture as well as the sound. Paste an individual YouTube video or Shorts link above, select the maximum resolution and confirm that you have the necessary permissions. YTMeet prepares one downloadable file.

360p or 480p

Useful when a smaller download matters more than fine visual detail. The exact size depends on the video's length and source.

720p HD

A practical starting point for watching video on a phone or laptop when the original contains that resolution.

1080p Full HD

The highest offered setting. It can preserve more source detail, but usually needs more storage and download time.

Why is my download smaller than the selected resolution?

The setting is a maximum. A lower-resolution source remains lower resolution; YTMeet does not upscale it. Portrait Shorts keep their portrait proportions, so the width and height differ from a landscape video.

Does the MP4 include sound?

YTMeet prepares video with available source audio. A silent original cannot produce sound. If playback appears silent, check your player's volume and the original video before trying another setting.

What happens after conversion?

Click Download and wait for your browser to finish saving the file before closing it. The result's expiry time applies to the temporary server copy. For audio without the picture, choose YouTube to MP3.

A few quick answers.

Can I download both audio and video?

Yes. Select MP3 for audio at 128, 192 or 320 kbps, or MP4 for video up to 1080p. Higher settings cannot improve the original source. The selected video resolution is a maximum; smaller videos are not upscaled.

Which video links work?

Only public single-video links from YouTube (including Shorts) and Instagram (including Reels) are accepted. Availability depends on the platform and the video. Playlists, multi-video posts, protected media, private videos and live streams are not supported.

I clicked Download. Where is my file?

Open your browser’s Downloads list. In Chrome on Windows, press Ctrl+J. If your browser asks where to save the file, choose a folder and confirm. Conversion prepares the file; clicking Download saves it to your device.

How long is my download available?

The result shows its expiry time. Finished files are deleted automatically after a short time, and restarting the service clears previous results. Anyone with your private job link can access the file until it expires, so keep that link private.

Why might a video conversion fail?

A platform may require sign-in, restrict downloads or change how it delivers media. A listed platform does not guarantee every video will work. We show the reason when it is available; changing quality will not fix a sign-in or verification requirement.
